NFL Inferno: Andy Reid should bench Vick and Start his Rookie QB like everyone else has.

Andy Reid has been the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 seasons.  But if the Eagles fail to make the playoffs, this season may be Reid’s last.  And even though QB Michael Vick has been a turnover machine, Reid has continued to stick by him even as the turnovers continue to mount.

I guess it’s possible that Vick could turn things around and recapture some of the magic he displayed in the 2010 season.  But so far this season Vick has been mediocre at best.  And there are rookie QB’s around the league that have been more impressive than Vick this season.  But the Eagles have a rookie QB of their own, so maybe it’s time Andy Reid finds out what he can do.

NFL Inferno: The Dolphins should just go ahead and start Ryan Tannehill.

I like Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore, but I don’t think the Dolphins will be significantly better with him as their starting QB, than Ryan Tannehill, as I currently have them ranked 29th in my Pre-season Top 32 NFL Team Rankings.  Tannehill may be a work in progress like all rookie QB’s, but it’s obvious that he already has a skill set that Moore and David Garrard don’t possess.
